Brett comes from a long line of tradesmen. His grandfather was a highly sought-after journeyman carpenter and his father was a nationally recognized project manager supervising construction of the National Archives in Washington D.C., numerous hospitals in Illinois, Kentucky, California, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, as well as the cruise ship terminal, post office, and IDX Tower in Seattle, WA. Starting as a hod carrier, Brett went on to learn the concrete, masonry, carpentry, and dry wall trades and following his father’s example, it was inevitable that he would develop a work ethic second to none.
